The Farming Program
Yulgilbar Pastoral Company farms approximately 600 hectares per annum across our two properties, Yulgilbar Station and Tooloonki — growing summer and winter cash and fodder crops that feed straight back into the cattle operation.

Cropping
Summer & Winter Crops
Corn is grown for pit silage, with soybean and cowpeas grown for grazing. Soybeans are also grown for grain and sold into the human consumption market, while oats and ryegrass are grown for grazing and hay, and barley for grain.
Irrigation
Large-Scale Irrigation
A large-scale irrigation system runs across both properties, combining centre pivot, hard hose and soft hose irrigators to keep the program watered year-round.
Feeding
Grown Here, Fed Here
Corn silage and barley grown on our properties are used in our own feeding facility — closing the loop between the farming program and the cattle operation.
